Caribbean Legal Consultancy CLC is headed by Prof. Dr. Flora Goudappel. Prof. Goudappel is a lawyer, legislative lawyer, academic lecturer and researcher, as well as an English-speaking and sworn translator from Dutch to English. She has extensive experience in both the Netherlands and the Caribbean and has worked all over the world as a visiting professor or researcher, including in China, Iran, Russia, Turkey, France, the US, Brazil and the UK. Her specialisms focus on European Union law, treaty law, human rights, comparative constitutional law, migration law and education law. She is currently also a professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Curaçao. As a former dean of this faculty, she has gained experience as an organizer and manager, responsible for the quality of education and research, and has led many education and research projects for the legal practice.
